Storyline
The Catalan plastic artist, Fidel Roig Matóns, arrived as an immigrant to Mendoza at the beginning of the 20th century. Based in this Cuyo region since 1936, he went on long expeditions to the mountains, seeking to portray the landscape. There he found the places where San Martín and his liberating army had passed when they fought for the independence of Argentina, Chile and Peru. And thus he developed a pictorial work that he called Epic Landscape, seeking to unite landscape and history. This journey takes place among their descendants in the present, and the memories of the artist played in voice-over by the actor Sergi Lopez.
